Experimental Condition Inspections in Southwest Michigan
Your Van’s RV or homebuilt deserves a mechanic who knows experimentals. We give your airplane a thorough condition inspection and make the logbook entry its operating limitations call for.

Experimentals and classics are part of our regular work. Van’s RVs, other homebuilts, and our own Luscombe get the same careful inspection as every Cessna and Piper.

FAQ
Who can do a condition inspection on my experimental?
It depends on your operating limitations. They typically allow either the repairman certificate holder for that aircraft or an A&P mechanic. If you bought your RV used and don’t hold the repairman certificate, an A&P can do it.
Is a condition inspection the same as an annual?
Not exactly. The scope follows Part 43 Appendix D, like an annual, but the requirement and the logbook entry come from your aircraft’s operating limitations.
Do you work on non-Van’s experimentals?
Yes. Send us the make/model and we’ll let you know.
Can I help or watch?
Yes. Owners and builders are welcome.
How much does it cost?
It depends on the airplane. Send us the details and we’ll give you a quote.
Condition inspection coming due?
Get it on the calendar. Request a quote and we’ll get back to you with available dates.
