How it works

  1. Schedule ahead. Request a quote and tell us the aircraft and when its annual is due.

  2. Bring the logbooks. We need the aircraft’s logbooks for the compliance review.

  3. We inspect the airplane. The inspection follows the manufacturer’s inspection checklist or 14 CFR Part 43 Appendix D.

  4. Review and approve. We report any discrepancies to you, and nothing is repaired until you approve it.

  5. Repairs. We complete the repairs you approved.

  6. Sign-off. You get an itemized invoice and logbook entries, and the aircraft is returned to service when airworthy.

  7. Pickup or delivery. Pick up your aircraft at C91, or ask about a ferry flight to deliver it.

What to expect

Start with a conversation. Tell us your aircraft make, model, and serial number; any modifications/STCs; any known discrepancies; where it is located; and when its next annual is due.

Get a quote and discuss scheduling. I'll discuss the inspection pricing, timing, and arrangements for bringing your aircraft to us in Dowagiac, MI, or for us to travel to you.

Complete the inspection. The agreed flat rate covers the inspection and manufacturer-scheduled aircraft servicing. I call you and discuss discrepancies and repair options.

Decide on next steps. Additional discrepancy-related labor, parts, and travel are quoted and billed separately, in accordance with the agreed-on work and applicable requirements.

How inspection pricing works

Annual inspections are offered at a flat rate based on your aircraft. The flat rate includes the inspection and aircraft servicing. Discrepancies are billed at $140 per hour, with parts billed separately. Aircraft returning for consecutive annual inspections receive a 15% discount.
